This is my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe. I cut it out from the back of a sac of flour. I’ll post photos then next time I bake a batch.
Ingredients
1 c. “butter” (1 stick margarine, 1 stick butter)
1 c. granulated sugar
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter (smooth Jif is my favorite for this recipe)
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. old fashioned oatmeal
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat margarine, butter, sugars, peanut butter, vanilla and eggs vigorously in large bowl until creamy and well blended. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
About 4 dozen cookies.
Enjoy!
